LZ-Blaetterwald 2022

Nationwide, we carry out planting campaigns every spring and autumn with many people and companies to restore damaged areas into species-rich mixed deciduous forests. So that participants not only work hard, but also get to know the forest and water better, we offer accompanying environmental education, our Forest Experience World. These 1.5- to 2‑hour forest tours give participants an emotionally tangible experience of the surrounding nature, of which they are a part. Our aim is to promote ecological values education and outline sustainable forestry.
To strengthen our team, we are looking for two forest/environmental educators as freelancers who will support us seasonally at our nationwide events. If applicable, there is also the option to continue working in the Westerwald/Bergisches Land area or in Lower Saxony within the framework of the training concepts we have developed. Remuneration is on a fee basis.

The tasks of the forest/environmental educators consist of introducing the participants of our planting campaigns to our Forest Experience World concept in small groups. Individual training will be provided.

We expect:

  • Enjoyment of experience-based forest education
  • forestry background knowledge
  • willingness to apply our „Forest Experience World“ concept
  • reliable working style
  • friendly, empathetic and professional demeanour
  • willingness to travel

If we have sparked your interest, please send us your application documents.
